WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

A leadership experience unlocking sustainable success for women and systemic impact for visionary organizations

Losing a single senior woman leader costs organizations upwards of

$700,000

in expertise, momentum, and institutional knowledge

— and that's just the financial impact.

Multiply that across a pipeline, and the cost of doing nothing becomes impossible to ignore.

Losing brilliant women mid-rise

High performers slip away just as they’re entering succession-critical roles.

Staggering replacement costs

Replacing a senior leader costs on average 75–200% of their salary.

Lost leadership momentum

Each departure results in nearly two years of lost leadership impact.

Managers unequipped to develop talent

Without shared language or leadership tools to support rising women, sponsorship falls through the cracks.

“I’ve had the opportunity to partner with Domonique in several capacities — from a leadership offsite and 360 assessments for my team to a firmwide workshop that received overwhelmingly positive feedback.”

“Domonique has a rare ability to create space for honest reflection while also challenging people to lead with more authenticity, clarity, and purpose. The sessions sparked meaningful conversations, built trust across the team, and left us with language, tools, and shared practices that continue to shape how we lead and collaborate.

“The Institute of Exceptional Alignment reflects the very best of what she brings to this work — a powerful, human-centered approach to leadership development that’s long overdue. I’m excited to see more organizations benefit from the kind of intentional, high-impact support she provides.”

Discover leadership development for women

High-performing women don’t need to be “fixed.”
They need systems where...

Retention is intentional, not accidental.

Women stay, grow and advance because development is high-touch and meaningful.

Leadership progression feels proactive, not like an afterthought.

There’s a sustainable path to senior roles, where women build confidence and capacity as they rise.

Managers can champion, not just manage.

With the language, tools and awareness, they can sponsor women effectively and visibly.

Culture signals belonging, not survival.

Women don’t have to armor up to lead; inclusion is embedded, not performative, allowing women to lead without self-editing.

Millions of dollars are protected, not lost.

Turnover drops, institutional knowledge deepens, and your existing engagement and talent efforts start to show real, measurable returns.

It’s not personal. It’s systemic.

Leadership development fails when the system isn’t built with women in mind.

That’s misalignment, and it’s costing organizations deeply.

But you’re ready to change that. Not as a check-the-box exercise, but as a business imperative.

Not just another coaching program

The Institute offers a new global standard.

This is a research-backed, evidence-based partnership designed specifically for visionary organizations that need to retain and elevate the talent they value most.

The Institute of Exceptional Alignment is a 6–12 month partnership for organizations tired of templated programs that don’t stick.

Rather than just another one-size-fits-all program, we deliver a flexible, collaborative model — valued by women leaders, supported by their managers, and measurable at an executive level.

Everything we do is underpinned by our flexible partnership model

The Institute works as a partnership, not a standalone initiative.

At every tier, we align with your organization’s goals around leadership, retention, and culture. Some partners begin with a focused cohort or pilot; others choose to embed the work more deeply over time.

The experience is custom designed around your organization’s priorities, leadership context, and desired outcomes.

The Institute is for you if....

  • You have leadership development or talent/inclusion budget, and you’re ready to invest it where it actually moves the needle.

  • You need ROI you can point to: board-level reporting, talent metrics, engagement scores.

  • You’re looking to deploy leadership investment more strategically, beyond check-the-box initiatives.

  • Managers of your leaders are also asking for support, especially around burnout, sponsorship and progression conversations.

  • You’re done with one-and-done workshops, and ready for a flexible partnership model that’s bespoke to your organization.

  • You’ve explored options or requested proposals, but nothing has offered the level of close, strategic relationship you’re seeking.

  • Retention is no longer just “an HR priority”, it’s a business risk, a cost center, and a strategic imperative.

Three tiers.
One transformative experience.

Inside The Institute, every woman is guided through the complete Exceptional Alignment Method™.

Your tier defines the depth of partnership, and how far this work is integrated across your leaders and organization.

This is success REALIGNED.

And it starts here.

Let’s explore what this could look like.

This is a flexible partnership, tailored to your organization

Book a call with Domonique, Founder of the Institute of Exceptional Alignment, to discuss your goals, challenges and how we can support your women leaders.

Hi, I’m Domonique.
Founder of The Institute of Exceptional Alignment.

I grew up with an internalized message many women know by heart: “You have to work twice as hard to go half as far.”

So I listened. For years.

→ Harvard Law.
→ Top Wall Street law firm.
→ Youngest Vice President at a multibillion-dollar organization.

From the outside, it looked like success. But behind the achievements was a truth I could no longer ignore: I was exhausted, anxious, and living in a state of constant over-proving.

The real turning point came when I began hosting listening sessions with high-achieving women — first in New York, then London, then Hong Kong and beyond.

Smiling woman with long black hair in white dress sitting on brown couch holding a phone.

Over time, I heard thousands of women share experiences that mirrored my own:

Perfectionism. Misalignment. Burnout.

And a question beneath it all:
“Is this worth it?”

Woman in white dress writing in a notebook while seated on a beige sofa.

The Institute of Exceptional Alignment was born from this truth, and from the gap I saw in organizations everywhere: billions spent on leadership development, yet women still leaving at unprecedented rates.

I built the Institute to solve the very problem that reshaped my own career.

In every conversation, in every city, the themes were the same. Brilliant, high-performing women were succeeding on paper...yet silently paying for it with their well-being, clarity, and sense of self.

The Institute exists to create a different path forward.

A place where women rise without losing themselves, and where companies finally learn how to support and retain the talent they can’t afford to lose.

Domonique designed and led powerful seminars on annual planning and perfectionism — both of which deeply resonated with our women across the U.S. and U.K. The sessions sparked reflection, connection, and a renewed sense of confidence among participants.

Thanks to our work together, we have gained momentum and visibility. We've seen stronger engagement, deeper connection, and real excitement across the team. More broadly, this work has supported Group 1’s commitment to building a more inclusive, connected culture.”

FAQs

How do we choose between ALIGN, ADVANCE and ARCHITECT?

It comes down to the depth of partnership and the level of impact your organization is seeking.

ALIGN is the entry pathway, ideal for organizations building leadership foundations and seeking early signals around engagement, growth, and retention.

ADVANCE is a deeper, year-long partnership for organizations ready to invest in immersive development for their top performers, embedding the work more fully to strengthen leadership capacity and long-term retention.

ARCHITECT is designed for enterprise-level partners seeking culture-wide Exceptional Alignment. This tier goes beyond individual development into systemic organizational work, embedding the framework across leadership teams to drive lasting culture transformation.

All three tiers develop women leaders. The difference lies in how deeply the work is integrated, and how far your organization is ready to go.

What is the time commitment?

The essential commitment is intentionally focused, designed to fit into the reality of senior leadership roles. At a minimum, participants should expect to spend around 2 hours per month, which covers their coaching sessions.

Most participants choose to engage more deeply, typically investing 4–6 hours per month across coaching, Masterclasses or Vision Labs, optional Office Hours, and reflective integration.

On-demand curriculum and Quick Wins modules are available for moments when time is tight; many can be completed in under 10 minutes. Engagement is flexible, but the depth of insight and impact grows with participation.

What happens in the coaching sessions?

Members work with a seasoned Executive Coach on leadership goals, decision-making, patterns of over-functioning, and emotional regulation. Each leader develops an Alignment Roadmap and tracks progress throughout the engagement, creating consistency and visibility for development over time.

What does the curriculum cover?

Members move through the full Exceptional Alignment Method™, including well-being, mindset, purpose, impact, connection, and integrated leadership—alongside the Perfectionism Reset and Quick Wins toolkit. All modules and labs are designed for real-world application, not theoretical learning. For more detail, visit our Experience page.

What kind of support is available between sessions?

ALIGN members have access to Office Hours and community channels.
ADVANCE and ARCHITECT members get everything in ALIGN plus direct coach access between sessions and integration labs for deeper application.

Is the retreat included?

ALIGN members can join as an add-on.
ADVANCE and ARCHITECT include one retreat seat (travel not included).

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Organizations can expand or deepen their partnership at any point. Some choose to upgrade as early as Month 2, once early impact is clear, or add additional seats as momentum builds. ADVANCE renewal and expansion conversations typically begin toward the end of the engagement, allowing time to assess outcomes and plan next steps.

Do we need this if we already have an internal leadership development program?

Yes, and here’s why: Most internal programs focus on skills. The Institute addresses the systemic patterns that stall advancement. We operate in parallel with existing initiatives, strengthening leadership capacity, sponsorship, and retention — unlocking greater return from your current investments.

Is the investment worth it?

Yes. Replacing one leader can cost $700K+ in knowledge, continuity and productivity, and that doesn’t include morale impact or lost innovation. This program often pays for itself in retention alone, with compounded returns in leadership capacity, engagement and culture strength.

How is impact measured?

We don’t rely on “attendance = success.” You’ll have access to The Alignment Tracker™ and Leadership Growth Index, providing visibility into:
• mindset and confidence shifts
• leadership behaviors
• engagement and retention indicators
• influence, visibility and progression
• manager feedback and sponsorship engagement

You’ll see real movement inside the program, not just at the end. Learn more on our Experience page.

Will leaders actually engage and follow through?

The Institute is intentionally designed to support engagement and follow-through. Rather than relying on heavy content consumption, every touchpoint is high-touch, relevant, and integrated into real work cycles. Participants are sponsored, thoughtfully selected, and supported through coaching, community, and practical tools they can apply immediately, creating the conditions for meaningful participation and sustained impact.

How does this support our inclusion or talent strategy?

This experience is designed to amplify what you already have, without adding another program to manage. We act as an extension of your team, supporting women and their managers together to improve retention, sponsorship, and leadership readiness, while easing the pressure on teams responsible for talent and culture.

You don’t need more “training” or another generic workshop.

You’re ready to build a leadership culture where women RISE, and attrition DROPS.
